Villa Travis

We left within an hour of checking in and went to Destiny Villas instead, which was 1000% better. Travis Villas was disgusting and nothing like the photos. The beds were stained, tiles, bathtubs, and sinks were cracked, and none of the doors locked, including the front door. The staircase was rotten and falling apart, there were holes in the pool decking, the pool tiles were black with mold, and there was mold in the kitchen sinks and around the air-conditioning unit. Spiders were everywhere. This villa isn’t suitable for children or elderly people, and I didn’t feel safe in the dodgy area or inside the villa. It felt like a tiny town in the middle of nowhere, with shacks and no shops nearby. Don’t waste your money here. You’ll regret choosing this location.

We had the best time at Villa Travis. The staff took such good care of us, and the breakfast they cooked every day was delicious. The facilities were great too, and it was good value.

The three-bedroom villa gives you a lot of space for the price of a one-bedroom villa. The property is aged, though it’s maintained, and there’s room for improvement. I’d recommend using Grab cab.

A quiet, pleasant private villa, with plenty of good restaurants and cafes around the Umalas/Petitenget neighborhood.
