There was plenty of room to park, which was handy. I also liked the many plants around the clean, comfortable place, they made it feel peaceful and refreshing. The service had a personal, family feel, and we felt welcome. They responded well when we had requests. A lovely spot to unwind.

We spent most of our time at the villa because it was such a peaceful, relaxing place, just what we needed. The guest services team were friendly, quick to help, and the food we ordered from the villa was consistently delicious. We had a wonderful stay and would come back, and recommend it to friends and family.

Breakfast at the Gong restaurant worked well for us, though you can have it brought to your villa or served on a floating basket in the pool. Bagas was attentive throughout our three days and two nights, and the rest of the staff were friendly and gave great service. Our single room villa had a large private pool, indoor and outdoor showers, and a huge bathtub.

The resort sits on a noisy road, and unfortunately our villa was right near it, so motorbikes went past noisily at all hours, day and night. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, though, and the cleaning crew did a great job every day, clearing leaves and flowers from the pool and outdoor area and refreshing the rooms.

The huge private pool was a hit with our kids. We loved our stay at The Santai, with its spacious, well maintained villas and amazing staff and facilities.
