We could relax by the pool with gin and tonics and the sound of the ocean, away from the traffic and busy tourist spots. The villa is right on the beach, with lovely views and a great location, and the staff were top tier too. Bali had floods a few days before our arrival, but they didn't affect us; the roads, villa, and everything else seemed to be operating normally. A perfect escape.

On my second Bali trip, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. We had a fantastic time with a group of old friends, and despite the forecasts, the weather was incredible. The villa is on an uncrowded reef break, away from the tourist areas but close to everything. Service was first class, with complimentary drivers wherever we wanted to go, and the food was great. We went on the Mt Batur sunrise hike, snorkeled at Nusa Penida, rafted on a river, shopped and enjoyed nightlife in Ubud, mountain biked, and visited temples.

Puri Salila made a wonderful stay for our group of up to 12. With six bedrooms, spacious living areas, lounging sofas and daybeds, outdoor dining spaces, and elegant décor, it combines Balinese charm with modern comforts. We especially loved the ocean views, direct beach access, and private infinity pool for sunset swims. There are Bluetooth speakers around the villa, plus a private home theater, fully equipped gym, spa baths, and a treatment room. A private chef, butler, and housekeeping team looked after us with warmth and professionalism. It really feels like having a private hotel, and would suit a family trip, celebration, or relaxing getaway. After staying there, I was already wondering when I could return. Anapuri Villas is arguably one of the finest private villa experiences in Bali.
