We spent a beautiful couple of days in the mountains, even though it was rainy season. When the sky cleared, and at sunrise, the view was lovely. The whole family welcomed us so warmly, and the food was great 👌🏻. Such a beautiful place for a night or a few. Thank you ♥️

The road up is very steep, so take care. What makes the trip worthwhile is the incredible panorama: at sunrise you can see Mount Agung and Abang together, with Rinjani behind them. If the sunset isn’t obscured by cloud or fog, you can also see Batur Lake and the top of Mount Batur. Such a gem, highly recommend!

Meme looked after us so well that we felt at home, and the food was amazing. The Wi-Fi is available, though not very reliable. One thing to know is that Google Maps doesn’t show the right location. At the T junction in the picture, leave the street and follow the sign. At the next T junction take the left road, then at the second T junction go right uphill. We had a very nice time up there and will come back.

The place is really cute, tidy, and has perfect views. The woman who manages everything is the best part, so helpful with whatever she can do. She’ll make a fire if you want one and cook something if you’re hungry. She’s heaven’s gained.
