Break Villa Kintamani

The lake view was nice and the room felt cozy, with internet but no TV. It’s a nice semi-private villa, though the car park is a bit far. You can ask to have the tub filled, but the water was only a little warm, not hot, and it didn’t come from the spring. Food options at the villa are limited, and there’s no restaurant nearby.

The garden is lovely and there’s a great lake view. We had no issue with the lack of AC and used the small fan. We booked at short notice and arrived late, but the girls welcomed us, got us dinner, and arranged a Mt Batur hike for the next morning. The mattress was soft foam and not very comfortable, and there was no bathroom shelf, but neither was enough to lose a star over. It’s a small place that looks family-run, and I’m sure they’ll invest more in it with your support.

We liked the view from our room, and breakfast was nasi goreng, mie goreng, coffee, or tea. The owner manages the place directly and was very helpful, explaining all the rules after check-in. Parking was a little far away. It was somewhat dark at night, though there were lights around.

The mountain and lake views are beautiful, and the room was clean and comfortable. I did have trouble with the toilet flush, and the staff didn’t help me at all.
