Bukit Catu Bungalows

The area is beautiful, and the view from our room was amazing. Jero and his family looked after us for the whole stay and made us feel very welcome. Jero drove us to several temples, a coffee plantation, and a rice terrace, and also arranged our Mount Batur hike.

The rates were surprisingly cheap, and the villa was very clean with a comfortable setting and easy access. The room was cozy, the bathroom was fine, and the hot water worked well. The pool wasn’t large, but it was enough. You can drive to the lake’s edge in the afternoon, and the morning atmosphere is amazing. There are lots of affordable villas near Lake Batur in Kintamani. I found this one by chance on Google Maps, and it was definitely worth it.

I’ve been staying here every time I visit the village in Kintamani for five years now. The cottages are the best, in an amazing location. The host is simply the best too, always helpful, supportive, and available. I have endless love for this place! 🏡✨

We enjoyed the nature around us, and the place was clean. We had no trouble securing our things. Breakfast was served outside, where we enjoyed the surrounding farmland. There are lots of things within walking distance in the Batur Caldera Kintamani area. For activities like Mont Batur trekking and Mont Batur Jeep sunrise adventure, staying one night means you can get more sleep than if you’re picked up from Ubud or elsewhere. The rooms were very clean, and for the price and facilities, you can’t complain. We’d stay again.
