Bunbulan Panorama

The room was nice, the view was good, and the service was amazing. Unfortunately, we came during renovations, which made it feel just like the busy city I’d come to Kintamani to get away from. They were even doing construction on a Sunday. We paid for a relaxing, quiet break, so this was really disappointing. I wish I could say I was satisfied.

We liked the place itself, but there was loud construction noise every day, with people knocking on metal and wood, shouting, and talking loudly. It was so constant that we couldn’t rest or relax. If we’d known there was work going on at the house next door, we wouldn’t have stayed. It was a terrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Thankfully, we moved somewhere else that was nice and quiet.

The room was clean, with a very comfortable bed, pillows and tables, and a clean toilet. There’s hot water for showers, which is welcome in cold Kintamani. Bu Ketut and the other staff were lovely and helped us figure out better ways to get around. The view is very nice, and there are several choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Ketut and Widi were so kind and caring throughout my stay. When I got food poisoning, they looked after me and even brought Oralit to help me rehydrate. They also tried speaking with people in the village about burning things that was sending smoke into our cabin. The bungalows were clean and comfortable, with Mt Batur right in front, Mt Abang to the left, and a glimpse of Agung in the distance on a clear day. Widi cooks a delicious breakfast too. It was a really pleasant stay, and lovely to meet Ketut and Widis family. Keep it up! :)
