We paid IDR 250.000 per room for one night, breakfast included, which felt affordable. They served Nasi Goreng and Teh Manis in the morning. It's a small, basic but comfortable hotel with a roomy, clean room, hot and cold water, and helpful staff. We stayed just one night to rest after watching the Bromo sunrise. The hotel is about 17 km from Bromo.

There's plenty of parking, and you can rent a jeep here. Breakfast is included, the rooms are clean, and there's a water heater, though the furniture looks old. It's a good overnight stop for the Bromo sunrise. From here it's about 30 minutes to the sunrise parking area.

The shower heater worked surprisingly well, and the rooms were okay for a hotel up in the mountains. I was on a travel agent package, so I can't comment on the price. It's a decent place to stay for a Bromo sunrise jeep trip, but the WiFi barely worked and there was no signal in the room. No kettle either.

If you're backpacking, there's nothing to worry about here. Things turned out fine. But if you're looking for a genuinely pleasurable stay, don't expect much, since the place just isn't very good for that.

The quiet and comfort were affected by salespeople waiting outside the door. Whenever they heard someone open it, they'd come over to promote their goods. They didn't force us to buy anything, but it was still disruptive.
