I felt relaxed here, almost like I was back home. The place was spotless and in a great location. Staff were warm and welcoming, and there were lots of different breakfast choices each day. I’d definitely come back.

The staff really made my birthday stay in May 2025 special. Everyone at Japa was kind, attentive, and helpful, and they even surprised me with a birthday treat. The service felt as good as at many luxury five-star hotels. It was so peaceful, like having a tucked-away forest retreat, while still being conveniently placed for exploring Ubud. We had breakfast every day, and everything we tried was delicious. There was plenty of variety and the quality was great. Thanks to the whole team for such a memorable visit.

The staff were wonderful, especially one of the women whose name started with Ken, or something like that. I came with my two children, and they surprised us with thoughtful gifts. Their hospitality went beyond what we expected. Our room was very clean and beautifully designed, and looked even better in person than in the photos. The à la carte breakfast was nicely presented. The location was ideal, just a 2 mins walk to the main road with shops and places to eat. One of the best hotel experiences my family has had!

Two women made my visit especially memorable, one I met at the restaurant and the other at checkout. I can’t remember their names, but I’m grateful to both. They were so kind and friendly, and even gave me a magnet. It really made my day. Everything else felt easy, too. The location made it convenient to get to the places I needed in Ubud, and all the staff were warm and helpful. I had a lovely stay and would gladly return.

Even when I was feeling unwell, the staff helped arrange a 2-hour late checkout, so I could finish my Bali trip feeling comfortable and well. They were very kind and efficient throughout, and the service reminded me of Korea. They responded quickly, and the welcome drink was absolutely delicious. We were also very pleased with the generous serving of welcome fruit.
