KINTAMANI Paradise

There’s a lake close by where you can toss rocks or just sit and enjoy the view. The villa also has a nice little pool in the middle, and the view is amazing. The rooms and hosts were great too. There were lots of flies, but I think that’s more of a Kintamani issue than the villa.

Ketut helped us get everything we needed for the Mount Batur hike, and we were made to feel so welcome by everyone. The standout is the amazing pool with natural hot water from the volcano. I’d suggest staying at least two nights so you can get to know the place, enjoy the hike, and rest properly. Thanks to the family for welcoming us so warmly!

The hosts were lovely, and Ketut and her family made us feel very welcome. They offered hiking and keeping your belongings for fair prices. Great value for the price, too. They even have their own hot springs, so there’s no need to go somewhere else that costs 500k.

The lake view is amazing, and Ms Ketut was genuinely sweet, helpful, and service minded. We could ask her for help or information. The room itself was fine and the bed was clean, but the rest of the experience was awful. We changed rooms three times in three days after ants appeared and requested another room. The bathroom was terrible: the sink didn’t work for the first two days before they fixed it, and every shower left water everywhere. The so-called hot spring at Kintamani paradise is just a small pool, and it was dirty, so we didn’t use it. The breakfast was terrible too, just one pancake each. Staff besides Ms Ketut seemed not to care about guests or the place, and there was no real service. We felt scammed and got no value for the money. We stayed at six places in Bali, and this was the worst hotel or bungalow experience I’ve had. It was a waste of time to stay at Kintamani paradise. Save your time and money, this place isn’t worth it.
