The Kayuan

The Kayuan Kintamani has a beautiful old building with an authentic feel and traditional details that give the place a special charm. It feels like a piece of Bali, with a warm, natural atmosphere. I had a memorable stay. The mountain air is fresh, and the surroundings are peaceful, just right for relaxing in the quieter side of Kintamani. Mount Batur looks stunning, especially early in the morning when fog drifts across the hills. My room was simple, cozy, and full of character, and it all felt genuine and cared for. The staff were so welcoming and kind that I felt at home. If you're after an authentic experience that captures the essence of Bali, this is a lovely place to stay.

The view is AWESOME!!! The place feels authentic, classic, and classy even though it looks old. The staff are humble, helpful, friendly, and always smiling, and the owner was helpful too. I stayed one night in a suite room, and the private jacuzzi with warm water helped ease all my tiredness and work stress.

The view is amazing, and the rooms were spacious and nice. During our stay the hot water kept cutting in and out. Trucks went up and down the hill all night and all day, without a break.

The breathtaking view over Mount Batur was the best part for me. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, but the place felt outdated, from the facilities and furniture to the broken, dusty cabinet in my room. It was just okay. I'd read comments saying staff were rude, but I found them kind, friendly, and hospitable. Breakfast was very affordable at Rp 25.000, what a steal! I even bought three breakfast packages for myself, lol 😆 There are places to hang out, including a gazebo, small gardens, and a kids' play area, but they were nowhere near nice. It all looked creepy and neglected, and there was a broken toilet left dumped in the garden. The constant noise from vehicles crossing the hill was irritating. Yep, it really never stops.
