The view of the mountain is perfect, and the place is really good and affordable. Just keep in mind that trees block the full sunrise, so I don’t think it’s the best spot if seeing the entire sunrise is your main goal.

The host family is just lovely, and the views really are as stunning as other reviews say. It’s a magical, peaceful place, and I loved having a bonfire each night during my two night solo stay. They even gave me a yoga mat and fresh avocados from the tree in front of my room. I arrived super early and upgraded from a tent to a little hut above, and both were no problem. Breakfast was perfect too. Just be ready for a camping setup: the shower and toilet are rudimentary, as you’d expect, but relatively clean. If you want a quiet place and are prepared for camping, you’ll love it. Solo travelers in low season shouldn’t expect to meet too many people, but that’s part of what makes it such a nice getaway.

Clouds came rolling down in the morning and covered the hills and mountain. It felt like tropical Scotland! Before that, the views were beautiful. We had a glamping pod with a toilet and electric shower. Everything was clean, and fresh towels, soap, shampoo, and tea were included. The family were lovely and welcoming. A wonderful place for campers and glampers.

The bed was really comfy and the view was excellent. Our hosts were amazing, a very friendly bunch. There’s a fireplace where we roasted marshmallows and chatted with friends.

Had a wonderful weekend here. The owners are really nice, and they made us a bonfire and brought breakfast, even early in the morning.
