I only spent about 10 minutes in the room before looking for another hotel, then checked out and returned the key. There was no refund, and I didn't feel bad about leaving. At check-in, the receptionist was in the car garage, and they took my ID card without asking. It's 2026, why are they still keeping IDs? The room also wasn't what the online listing showed. It was advertised as air-conditioned with white sheets, but I got just one fan. The guard said the boss handled arrangements and he didn't know anything. The bathroom was outside, and a window that wouldn't close let in a lot of light.

I booked and paid for an AC room online three days ahead, but arrived at 8:30 PM to find it had been given to someone else who wanted to switch from a non-AC room to an AC one. There was an argument, and I said I'd make the situation go viral. In the end I got the room I was entitled to. The front office argued with the person who'd requested the change, and the room I'd booked was still empty, even though the other booking hadn't shown up.
