We picked Rumah Desa Homestay for its location near Prambanan. We were going to the Prambanan Jazz Festival, and traffic tends to be crazy when the concert lets out. It was a 10 min walk from the Prambanan Musuem gate, and walking back from Prambanan at night felt safe. Pak Wibowo and Ibu Heni were among the best hosts I've met. They were understanding and accommodating. Breakfast came every day, with a choice of local food, fried rice or fried noodles, or an American breakfast of eggs and toast. It was really tasty, and you can tell Ibu Heni how spicy you want it. There's also a small laundromat in front of the house if you need to do laundry. Our room fit four people, with two queen beds. It was spacious and clean, with air conditioning and hot water. Towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, and soap were provided, and the rooms are cleaned daily. I was happy with our stay at Rumah Desa Homestay, and we'd planned to come back for the Prambanan Jazz Festival next year.

The breakfast was a highlight, with several choices and everything seriously delicious. There were local snacks, filling main dishes, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, and mineral water. The homestay is right next to the Prambanan temple area. Pak Wibowo and Bu Herni are lovely owners, and you can feel how much they care about making guests comfortable. The room was spacious and stocked with fresh towels, soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and even toilet paper. They also made the beds and cleaned the room, which isn't something a normal homestay does. They really go above and beyond. A 3-star place with 6-star service! These two are a blessing. I'd love to keep this gem to myself, but they deserve all the success. Thank you for your warmth and kindness, Ibu and Bapak. Hope to see you again soon, inshaAllah. 💛

We stayed for 2 nights so we could get to Prambanan Temple early, and that was totally worth it. We had the place to ourselves and it wasn't too hot. The homestay was immaculately clean, and breakfast was yummy. Wibowo and his wife went out of their way to look after us. We had a fantastic time.

I'm still at Rumah Desa Homestay as I write this. It's a lovely local place, and Mr. Wibowo and his wife take great care of you and make sure you're happy. His wife cooks in the morning, and in the evening too if you'd like to eat at the homestay. I really recommend her cooking, there's so much love in it. The room is a good size, and the bed is comfy. I really recommend staying here!

Wibowo was so kind, and offered to drive us to a restaurant in the evening, though you can also eat at their place, and to the station in the morning, even though it's not far on foot. The people here are so kind that you can feel at home and sense the positive energy they put into their business. Their place is the best accommodation you can find in Prambanan, very close to the temple. The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with everything you need. They also have a few bikes for exploring the village and lots of suggestions about what to see and where to eat. Trima kasi to both of you.
