Being near the mosque made me feel peaceful and safe, almost like home. The room itself was comfortable and clean. Still, it’s up on the third floor and there are only stairs, so it won’t work well for seniors, young children, or wheelchair users.

There’s no elevator, and the rooms are on the third floor. The location is right across from the mosque, which is a plus if you like the quiet around its loudspeakers. Drinking water is limited, and gallon jugs would have been better. The water heater didn’t work, so we only had cold water. Food options are limited, though the yellow rice with beef jerky is delicious.

For 500,000 Rupiah, I found a few drawbacks: service from the staff was below standard, breakfast wasn’t a buffet, and the motorcycle and car parking has no canopy. The mosque loudspeakers face the front of the hotel, something non-Muslim guests may want to know. It’s on the third floor with no elevator. The hotel itself is new, clean, and nicely done in a contemporary minimalist style, with a shared balcony.
