Hotel Winslow was my worst stay in six months of traveling around Indonesia. I had paid in full and had a confirmed booking, but arrived at 2 am to find there was no room. In the end, I slept on a couch. First they told me to return at 7 am; when I checked before then, it had changed to 8 or 9, maybe after cleaning at 8:30. The whole thing was confusing and unacceptable, and I didn't get checked in until around 9:30 am. The room had stained walls, and the AC took ages to cool it down. There was no water refill station either, which was disappointing. After I complained, though, they let me stay one extra night for free, and I appreciated that.

The location is super convenient, with plenty of food nearby, a bus stop for TimorLeste, and the airport close by. For private rooms in Kupang, this is the best value. The staff are great, too. Highly recommended!

I wouldn't recommend staying here. It was the cheapest reasonable option I could find, but it wasn't worth it. There was no WiFi and no English, but the bugs in the room were the worst part. They kept me awake all night.
