Bali Summer Hotel

I came back to the same hotel this year for one night after staying a week last year. The earlier visit was quite good: friendly service, a good room, apart from an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. This time I was fined 500k because cigarette ash was found on the floor by the balcony entrance. They accused me of smoking in the room, which I hadn’t done. We argued for 30 minutes before I asked him to call his boss. The boss apologized and said it was their fault. I appreciate the boss understanding that.

At 400k idr, it was a pleasant surprise to find a hotel this affordable, and Kuta beach is just a five-minute walk away. The room was tidy and had all the amenities, but the towels still had several stains after the cleaning service. Breakfast choices were limited, though what they served was cooked well. It was also hard to get hold of reception or the hotel’s motorcycle rental service. Aside from those things, I had a good experience ❣️

Everyone at Bali Summer Hotel was so kind and helpful, and I felt welcome and comfortable the whole time. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the location worked perfectly for me, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. I had a wonderful stay and would happily come back. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Bali.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was nice. Kuta’s a great location if that’s what you’re after. The hotel was great for the price per night, though the bathrooms are old and the showers aren’t very good. Still, it was a great experience for what I paid.
