Beach Melati Apartments

We stayed at Beach Melati Apartments from the end of November to December 2024, and it was a real delight. It's a cozy, welcoming place with comfort, convenience and a touch of luxury. The apartments felt more like home than a hotel, especially after staying at bigger resorts. Our beds and dreamy pillows were so comfortable we wanted to sleep in every day. We had a kitchenette with the basics, while the larger apartments are fully equipped if you want to cook a lot. There's a spacious lounge to flop into after exploring, and daily cleaning kept everything fresh and spotless. The apartments are huge and nicely decorated. Air conditioning was icy cool after a day in the sun, and the serene pool was never overcrowded. Towels were available, and 24/7 security meant we didn't worry about walking down dark alleys. You can get to the beach in a 3-5 minute walk for a swim, sunset or stroll. Great shops, restaurants and spas are right nearby, yet the apartment itself is a peaceful retreat. Staff were warm, friendly and always ready to help, and made us feel like family. It's a small, personal complex with one to three bedroom apartments, suited to families, couples or solo travelers. You get what you need without the crowds and craziness of a big resort. We loved this hidden gem and would keep coming back. Let's keep it our little secret, though it probably won't stay hidden for long.

We were a big group and stayed for 10 nights. Jinae and the team helped us with recommendations, restaurant choices, tour bookings and anything else we needed. The rooms were clean, and the property was maintained every day. The location was perfect, central to everything on a one-way street that wasn't too busy. The apartments were spacious and worked well for families. Huge thanks to Jinae and her team for making the stay at Melati so easy. We'll definitely be back!

We've been coming to Bali for years, and this is one of the most amazing places we've stayed. It feels like home for a family, and the rooms and property were clean and tidy. The location is hard to beat, with everything close by and amazing restaurants right at the door. We walked along the newly concreted beach walk to melasti street/ Padma hotel in 10 minutes, even with a pram. Everyone went above and beyond to accommodate us, and we can't wait to return. We loved it so much that I've even convinced my parents, who've been to Bali 30+ times, to stay with us next time.

The location is ideal. There are over 10 places to eat and drink within 100 metres, plus chemists, massage places and convenience stores nearby. Padma Street is just over a 6-minute walk, and a laneway beside Ossotel Hotel / Romeo’s restaurant gets you to the beach in a few minutes. Our two-bedroom apartment was really large, with a great lounge and a very well equipped kitchen. The apartments are arranged around a pool that's a decent size for the number of units and quite deep. Beach Melati Apartments may not be five-star luxury, but its location, facilities and excellent staff assembled by June’s earn it that five-star rating.
