Bloo Bali Hotel

The room door was forced open twice while I was inside, and after that I didn’t feel safe sleeping there. The first time, someone had gone to the wrong room. We had an “im on deep sleep” sign on the door, but staff opened it anyway. The receptionist called afterward to apologize and explain. The next day staff opened it again, saying they were bringing refill tissue rolls, despite the same sign still being there. Shouldn’t staff knock first? There were other frustrations during our 5 days and 4 nights. At check-in, we were warned we’d be fined if we damaged or turned the bidet incorrectly, so we were afraid to use it for the whole stay. I’ve never been told this at another hotel. The deposit was 250k, due back at checkout. The balcony door was locked, and we had to report it if we wanted it opened. There were lots of mosquitoes in the room even after we asked staff to spray. A hair dryer had to be requested and could only be used for 2 hours. The TV was an old model, the pool was small, and breakfast had few choices that were almost the same every day. The location was strategic, with restaurants and supermarkets nearby, but the main road was busy and hard to cross, and security didn’t help us cross. Nothing about the stay felt special. I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it.

We stayed for 3 nights, and the room was cleaned every day. There are loads of local food options nearby, cheap and delicious, and it’s a great fit if all you need is a clean room to sleep in. I’d seen reviews mentioning dirty sheets and towels, so I was skeptical before booking, but everything was completely clean. Magnificent hotel. I’ll definitely come back and highly recommend it.

A favorite of ours in Bali, with clean, spacious rooms and a good price. There are lots of restaurants nearby.

The BloO hotel looks good, but it’s very open and sound carries everywhere. Nearby bars played loud music late into the night, enough to rattle the balcony door. Even with the pool closing at 7pm, drunk people were allowed to sit and talk and laugh loudly, sometimes as late as 04:00am. The noise echoed through the whole hotel, up to the 4th floor. The Night Manager and Security Guard were useless and ineffective. The WiFi was hopeless too. Most of the time it was disconnected while waiting for the signal to improve.
