Bread & Jam Hostel

We were a family of four in the two-bedroom apartment, which was cozy and had plenty of space for a small family, with a kitchen and living room. The area was quiet and away from the busy spots, but close enough to reach Kuta's busier areas quickly. The host was friendly, attentive, and easy to get hold of. We'd definitely stay again.

The owner is what really makes this place special. Marina is incredibly kind, responsive, and the friendliest owner I've met. Her warmth gradually makes it feel like a welcoming home for tenants. The rooms are lovely and well maintained, and the hall is a great place to relax in a soothing atmosphere. It's in a peaceful area with a charming neighborhood for a walk, and Jerman Beach is about 15 minutes away. One of the coziest and best accommodation experiences I've had. I'm torn between keeping this place to myself and telling everyone about it 😁 Once you're in Bali, you might think you won't rent anywhere else!

I spent a week in a spacious, comfortable private single room in this peaceful, cosy Kuta house. After lots of surfing, it was a great place to recover. The other people staying here were friendly and said hi, and Marina was a lovely, kind host. Thanks so much ❤️ There's air con, Wi-Fi, a shared kitchen and fridge, a communal hairdryer and hanging area, plus some motorbike parking in the front yard. And friendly cats ❤️ The walls are a bit thin, though. If someone in the next room talks a lot, you'll hear everything, so earplugs would help.

About a 20-minute walk from the beach, down a small alley, so you can enjoy Kuta without staying right in the busiest part. The hostel was clean, stylish, and felt safe. The women working there were fantastic.
