Captain Goose Hostel

The natural surroundings and atmosphere were lovely and peaceful, with beautiful trees, a nice pool, and a well-maintained hostel that felt like a five-star place. I felt very comfortable during my stay from April 3-10, 2018, traveling from India. The staff were kind, the air-conditioned room stayed cool, and the bathroom and toilets were always clean with water available. Cooking facilities were great, and free coffee, tea, and drinking water were always on hand. Kuta beach is very close, with lots of nearby shops where you can buy anything, and many tour operators around too.

The pool was nice, and it was a good place to meet people. The location is close to everything, but getting there means walking along dark streets, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're alone. The hostel wasn't clean at all, and the bathrooms were a disaster. You have to make your own pancakes in the morning.

There were lots of fun people staying here, and it was easy to walk to several places. The hostel was okay, with ordinary rooms and nothing special. It's a bit hard to find, tucked down several small, narrow streets. Being able to make pancakes whenever you wanted was kind of nice.

The price was great, and staff were around all day and night. My room had air conditioning, but it was too far away for the Wi-Fi to reach. I spent a few nights here while in Bali, and relaxing by the pool with a few beers from the front desk was a great way to spend the day.
