The room was nicely prepared, and the staff were very accommodating. Wi-Fi was excellent 💯👍. I’d recommend it if you’re after a budget-friendly place to stay.

On our last night, I went back to the room I’d booked through the following morning and found a reception worker sleeping in my bed. I hadn’t checked out. We’d booked the apartment for 10 nights, but the room was so dirty, with an unemptied bin, ants everywhere, a moldy smell, and a filthy fridge with old chili in it, that we had to book another room. I only returned to avoid spending more money. I contacted Agoda’s support right away and spent over two hours speaking with them, but they gave me no refund, just a 10% discount. A complete joke. I strongly advise against this apartment and the Agoda app.

The only real upsides were the low price and how close it is to the airport. We were allowed to check in only at 02:00 and were offered a 13:30 checkout, but at 11:55 we were suddenly told to leave before we were ready. The common areas were in terrible condition, including a dirty pond and a pool that was a sad excuse for one. The rooms were barely passable, the bathroom was gross, and the lighting was bad. At night the hotel was almost impossible for us to find, tucked away with just one tiny sign. A depressing place, not worth even the cheap price.

The room had the basic amenities and was good value. We checked in close to 1am, but the staff were still reachable and had managed to get the room ready. The location worked especially well for an early trip: it’s right in front of Kura Kura Bus Station, so we could check out and catch the 8am bus to Ubud. It’s also walkable from the airport.
