Favehotel Seminyak

We ended up leaving before we’d even completed one night of the five we booked at Primera Hotel Seminyak. We’d requested a standard room with a double bed, but got two singles. We let that go, but the room itself was dirty, the toilet water smelled awful, and the towels did too. It looked nothing like the photos on Agoda. For a place listed as three stars, it felt more like a tenement. Later, people were drinking and hanging around right outside the lobby elevator, which made us even less comfortable. The hotel offered another room, but we couldn’t stay any longer, and they wouldn’t refund us, even partially. We booked somewhere else instead. We paid around 1 million IDR for the five-day booking, and it felt like a waste. Our previous two-star hotel in Seminyak was much cleaner, quieter, and more comfortable. I hope management takes this seriously and reconsiders the three-star rating. Very disappointing.

The room was clean, though I didn’t take any photos. The shower felt a bit odd and hard to use. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and for the price I thought this was a very good hotel.

The location is the only thing I can praise. I was disappointed by the room, the service, and what I paid for the booking. The window in my room wouldn’t open, and apparently the windows in nearly all the rooms stay shut. The air conditioning was extremely poor, and I couldn’t breathe comfortably. I won’t come back.

For what it costs, it’s hard to find a better hotel. My room was clean and the service was pretty standard for this category. Nothing especially stood out, but I really can’t complain.
