Fourteen Roses Beach

The staff were incredibly kind, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxing. My room at the Fourteen Roses was cosy and beautiful, and the location was perfect, close to the beach and plenty of shops and restaurants. I've stayed at other hotels nearby that cost a lot more, but the Fourteen Roses experience was much better. I can't recommend it enough.

We've been back to FRBH a few times, most recently with family and friends for a milestone birthday. Made and Agus are always happy to chat or make a delicious cocktail, and the staff go the extra mile to make the stay enjoyable. It's good value, and they sort out any little inconvenience or quirk quickly. Breakfast is great with its made-to-order setup, and everything from Luminara is delicious. The location is excellent too, near the beach, shopping, restaurants, and shortcuts. We love FRBH and can't wait to return! 🥰

The rooms are a good size and the service was okay, but something was missed each day. Sometimes it was tea or coffee in the room, other times the bins weren't emptied or room-service plates weren't cleared. Service at the pool bar was pretty scattered. Sometimes someone was there, other times we had to call someone over. I ordered the satay carnival, but the drink that came with it never arrived. Also, if you're charging 10% tax, why not include it in the total? Just show 108,900 instead of 99k. That would make things a lot better.

Our honeymoon ended up elsewhere because we booked another place for the rest of the trip after this hotel's careless service. The air conditioner leaked puddles, and our door wouldn't close properly or lock. We were told time and again that someone would look at it and fix it, but it kept breaking. When we asked to change rooms, we were told no. We've both visited Bali plenty of times and never had service this careless. We'll stick with hotels we've used before. Save your money and don't book here.
