Hard Rock Hotel Bali

The pool was a real highlight, with lots to keep the kids busy, so it worked very well for a family trip. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with some thoughtful touches that made the stay more enjoyable. Everyone on staff was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent throughout. We had a fantastic, fun and relaxing time at Hard Rock Hotel Bali, and would happily stay again.

Right in central Kuta, the hotel is within walking distance of the beach, shops, and lots of places to eat. The pool area is a standout, especially for families, with good facilities and a laid-back feel. Breakfast had a solid selection, and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained. Staff were always smiling, friendly, and helpful. There's a lively atmosphere, but the hotel still feels comfortable and well run. A nice mix of convenience, comfort, and entertainment in Bali. I'd consider coming back.

The hotel team made us feel welcome, and the customer service was great. Our room was good, although the AC thermostat wasn't easy to use. Breakfast was a huge buffet every day, and they put on a live concert in the lobby each night, which was great fun. The pool area was one of the best spots, with a huge pool and private bunks, plus lots for kids to do. It's a fun resort and I highly recommend it for families visiting Bali. The beach is an easy walk, though it's a little dirty with slums, even if it looks beautiful. KFC, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, and a great mall with international brands are also within walking distance. I'd rate the stay 4.5 out of 5.

We came back to Hard Rock in Kuta for our second family stay. Gede and his photography team are awesome, and Gede himself is funny, humble, and great. The kids loved the pools and activities by the pool. The Poolaide cabanas aren't cheap, but they're worth it if you'll spend a lot of time there. The buffet breakfast is always good, and the service is just as friendly as it was two years ago. Everyone acts like nothing is too much trouble, which makes the stay so much better. Kuta is close to shopping and massages, and we didn't bother with the beach this time. We went in January during wet season and got some heavy rain, but the cloudy days were cooler and more enjoyable than constant full sun. I'd recommend it for families. You don't need to go to Nusa Dua or Canggu, Kuta is still fine.
