Fresh towels arrived each day, and the staff were really friendly. The villa was roomy, clean, and nicely arranged around a view of the pool and spa. It was fully equipped, and getting help was easy: just message room service on WhatsApp. Best of all, the Main Street in Seminyak is only a three-minute walk down the lane, with restaurants and cafes right there. Great value, and I’d recommend it for the location.

The place itself was great, but checkout left a bad impression. A regular glass broke when I dropped it, so I put the pieces in the bin and thought little of it. Staff went through the bin, retrieved it, and asked me to pay. I’d paid a significant amount for the stay, so charging me for a glass that might cost $3 felt petty. Going through our rubbish was odd, too. I’d understand if it were something more substantial, but most restaurants wouldn’t charge for a broken cup either.

It’s quiet here, even though the beach is a 10-minute walk away and dozens of restaurants are just five minutes away. The courtyard and private pool made a lovely place to relax. Inside, the proper kitchen has what you need for a long stay, including a big fridge, hot and cold water dispenser, and pod coffee machine. There’s a comfortable dining table opening onto a huge living room, with the biggest TV I’ve ever seen in accommodation. The bedroom is gorgeous and even bigger, with a huge walk-in closet and bathroom. There’s also a small, incredibly functional guest gym. It may be the best hotel gym I’ve used: the equipment was so good that I noted the brand and may buy one myself. The staff were great and could help with any request. Honestly, the place is just perfect.

The villa was amazing, huge, and had everything you need. The staff were lovely and friendly. I’ll choose Kamil Villas again on my next trip to Seminyak.
