The location is lovely, with lots of Indian restaurants nearby. The pool is nice, though it isn’t fully private when both villas are occupied. The glass doors also make privacy an issue. Food was bland throughout all 3 days, the rice was undercooked, and the menu never changed.

The staff were friendly, which is why I’m giving 2 stars. But the place wasn’t clean, and I saw a few mice inside the villa. I wouldn’t call the area good for families either, with lots of beggars, massage services, and people selling illegal stuff.

Google Maps shows the wrong location. Karlamanda is beside J Boutique Hotel, reached by a small alley off jalan Wanasegara, behind Aston Kuta Hotel and Residennce and beside The Tusita Hotel.

The villa was good, and the staff were kind and friendly. The price was good too. The only drawback for me was the location, which is far from central Kuta.
