The hotel’s in a good spot, just a five-minute walk from kuta beach, and there’s a nice restaurant next door. One suggestion: ditch the blanket and provide a duvet with sheets instead.

Tucked away on a small street, this is a nice hotel. The pool was clean, and the restaurant was very good with reasonable prices.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The bathroom drain smells really bad, and the air conditioner leaks water. There was also a noisy tenant at the bottom of the corridor, slamming doors and arguing with his girlfriend all night. The owner moved upstairs, and the same thing started again, with door slamming and a lot of drama. It took eight months to get a second-hand mattras.

I paid for a month here, but had to leave Bali for a few days for a visa run. I left my things in the room and told the hotel my friend would collect the keys to look after them. When my friend went to pick them up, the hotel wouldn’t hand over the keys and said my belongings were gone. I explained I hadn’t checked out and was only away briefly, but the manager was defensive and no help. They even started acting as if they couldn’t speak English, and have blocked my calls since. I still haven’t got my things back, including sentimental items and new clothes, and I paid for a room I couldn’t use. The whole thing has been incredibly frustrating and unfair. I had a terrible experience and wouldn’t recommend booking here.
