Krisna Seminyak

I booked a week but checked out after just one night. The blanket had random stains and was pretty dirty, so I slept in my dress instead. There was also a ridiculously loud, almost scary fan in the bathroom. It came on with the light, and when I asked staff if they could fix it, they said no. I booked through Airbnb, where the listing said unused nights could be refunded if cancelled 24 hours ahead. I asked to change the booking to one night and they declined, so I cancelled it myself. The money difference wasn't huge, but the whole thing was really annoying. This feels like a budget motel, but it was far less clean and comfortable than a normal homestay. I wouldn't recommend it. The nice photos on the Google listing didn't look anything like the room I had. I wish I'd taken photos, but I was uncomfortable touching things in there. There was even a spider by the desk.

Avoid this place. A big gap under the door let bugs in all night, drawn to the lights. The air conditioning kept cutting out, and the bed was just a box spring. I felt little crawlers on the bed and in my hair all night and couldn't sleep. There was no room safe, and the wifi was unreliable, so it wouldn't work well for remote workers. They gave us only one towel for two people. The location was good, but the room was awful and customer service was too, even though our complaints were legitimate. We couldn't manage to spend even one night there, but they wouldn't refund us for our two-week booking. We booked September 4-17, 2022. Spend a little more for a decent room.

The room had already been renovated, so it was clean and comfortable, and the staff were kind and ready to help. I booked at the last minute and got nervous after reading poor reviews, but I didn’t need to worry. Seminyak’s best cafes and even the beaches are easy to reach on foot. I had a lovely stay, thank you!

The building is decent and the room was fairly clean, but there’s no receptionist on site. There’s only soap and a towel, no water, and the old TV doesn’t have international channels. Guests with large bags should know there’s no lift, so you have to use the stairs. It’s fine if you just need a place to sleep in central Seminyak, though the front desk and customer service need improvement.
