Kuta Living

The pool was the main reason I picked this place, and it’s excellent. The hotel itself is quite outdated, though renovations are underway. It’s basic but clean, and conveniently located, with everything in walking distance.

The reception team made this stay special. They were so kind and respectful, and felt almost like family. I always felt welcome and supported. I spent 9 nights at Guna Graha Kuta by Kamara and had an amazing time. The hotel is very new, clean, and modern, with everything feeling fresh and well cared for. For a central location, the price-performance ratio is excellent. Highly recommend if you want a warm, affordable, high-quality place in Kuta.

There were lots of Indian restaurants within walking distance, which was the one good thing about the hotel. The stay was terrible, and I wouldn’t recommend it for families, though it might be okay for bachelors. The entrance shocked me, with no reception desk. Four boys, who I assume were hotel staff, were smoking and drinking in the lobby, then attended to us casually and assigned a room. Housekeeping was bad. I’m sharing some actual photos, so don’t be fooled by the hotel’s night pictures.

For a 3 Star place, it’s good. It had a water-heater and a fridge, and was good enough for two 22 year olds.
