Lemon Grass Seminyak

Kylie made our late-night arrival easy. She welcomed us in person, walked us through the villa, explained everything clearly, and had arranged food for us. When she realized we needed more milk than she’d left, she even went out to buy another litre. She’s the kindest, most helpful hostess we’ve met in all our travels, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. She genuinely wanted us to be comfortable and asked how the villa could be improved. We’ve already booked our next three holidays at Lemongrass Villa, which says a lot about our stay. The place is spacious, clean, comfortable, and practical. There are two large bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, good air conditioning, and reliable hot water. The washing machine is in an outdoor third bathroom, which still has a working shower, basin, and toilet. We spent a lot of time in the generous living area, with its equipped kitchen, dining space, lounge, TV, and comfortable furniture. My wife called the chaise lounge the most comfortable lounging furniture she’d experienced in Bali. Outside there’s another dining area, couches, tables, garden space, direct access to a lovely pool with loungers, and a gazebo that quickly became one of our favourite places to relax. The kitchen has gas burners with lighting and an exhaust, plenty of dishes and utensils, a large fridge, and a standing dispenser for hot, chilled, and room-temperature water. The little extras were thoughtful too: bottle openers, corkscrews, pens, batteries, coffee, tea, sugar, and chamomile, peppermint, and Earl Grey teas. There was also fly spray, insect repellent, toothbrushes and toothpaste, soap, shampoo, a sewing kit, and two hair dryers, one for each ensuite. We hardly saw any mosquitoes during our two-week stay. The location is handy for restaurants, small warungs, shops, taxis, Grab, Jalan Camplung Tanduk, and Jalan Legian. The beach is about 290 metres through the gang. There’s a laundry, Circle K, Azura Mart, and tattoo studios right next door. Lemongrass Villa has lovely open views, comfort, practical details, and genuinely thoughtful hospitality. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to return.
