Mangga Bali Inn

The place felt very relaxed, and the pool was always a lovely temperature. The rooms could use a little maintenance, though. Our air con was noisy and inconsistent, and water leaked from the bathroom sink whenever we turned on the tap. If you have to stay in Kuta, it's a great choice.

We came with the family for a wedding and a holiday, planning to stay only two nights before moving to the Mecure. But we found an exotic resort with a big courtyard where the kids could roam, so we stayed. The pool was gorgeous, we had lots of privacy, and nobody minded the noise from our children. The staff were amazing and accommodated all our needs. They were kind and lovely, and made our Bali stay memorable. We're very thankful and will definitely return if we come back. We saved a lot of money here. We got two rooms for half what one standard room at the Mecure would've cost, and the staff and service were much better. The rooms were large and clean, with a double bed, plenty of cupboard space, a lamp, air con, shower, and toilet. The second room had two king singles for the kids. The bathrooms were tidy, the beds comfortable, and the linen was changed when we asked. The air con worked so well in the Bali heat that we had to switch it off at night because it got too cold, even if only for 30 minutes. Breakfast was simple, freshly cooked, and very filling. There are no fridges in the rooms, but the staff were happy to keep our drinks in the resort fridge and bring them whenever we asked. Someone is on staff 24 hours. The resort is tucked down an alley off the main street, which meant we didn't hear anything while sleeping.

The staff were friendly, though they didn't always notice people coming in. Rooms were clean and spacious, but there wasn't much furniture. Breakfast was alright, although the TV playing loud local channels was a bit distracting. The pool was clean and in good condition. The location is convenient, close to everything, with the beach about 10 minutes away and pubs, shops, and restaurants just two minutes away.

The breakfast tastes incredible, and the pool is beautiful, with stones and some temple sculptures. It's in a good spot on the main road in Kuta Bali, but still quiet. The beach is about a 10-minute walk away.
