The location is great, close to the main street and Kuta beach, and the hostel is easy to spot even though it’s down a side alley. It’s a great price for a night, and generally clean and well maintained. The desk staff are really friendly, the beds are comfortable, and I liked the curtains for privacy. The shower switches between warm and cold.

Great for backpackers or groups, with group rooms as well as a rooftop for hanging out or smoking, plus a mini kitchen and bar. The price was the cheapest, the location @Kuta was very strategic, and the service was the BEST. We got freshly washed towels and sheets on arrival, a locker to keep our stuff safe, free-flow coffee and tea, breakfast, and more. Wi-Fi and hot water were available 24 hours. Highly recommend :)

The dorm felt cramped, and there wasn’t much atmosphere. I’m glad I only stayed one night. It’s a cheap hostel in a reasonably good location, so it works if keeping costs down is the main thing. I’d pay a little extra for a nicer hostel.

It’s convenient and close to kuta beach, with clean shared bathrooms and friendly staff who give excellent service. They provide free towels and coffee and tea, and motorcycle rental is 60k. I’d suggest adding a curtain to each bed for privacy.

Simple, clean, and with a young modern feel, this is a great backpacker spot near Kuta Beach. The staff are friendly. I’d definitely recommend Nine Dollar Hostel to backpackers like me and will come back on my next trip. -Chris fron Bandung Institute of Tourism-
