Reset Lombok Hotel

The breakfast tasted good, which saved this from being a one-star review. But “included breakfast” apparently doesn’t cover an extra slice of bread, which cost about 2 euros. The pool was another letdown: I went in once, and the chlorine smell was so strong I thought it was half water and half chlorine. It made my skin feel bad. We had booked the deluxe room, but it was very, very small. The outdoor bathroom had poor ventilation, and being next to the road meant constant motorbike noise. For what you get, I found it much too expensive compared with other places on the island.

Top place to stay in Kuta Lombok. Breakfast was amazing, like something from a fancy coffee shop, so I’d add it to the booking. The staff were super nice and helped with scooter rental and airport transport. Gym lovers get free gym entry included in the price too :)

Such a lovely tropical feel, with plants everywhere, and the room was clean and nice. The service was great too. My only disappointment was that the room had no window or natural light.

I loved the bathroom’s open roof. You still feel private, and when it rains, you can take in the view from the bathtub. A really unusual treat. There were mosquitoes outside the room at night, but surprisingly I didn’t see any in the open-air bathroom. The room looked just like the online pictures, and it was clean and well cared for. The whole hotel was spotless and smelled lovely. Staff were welcoming and quick to reply in chat. I’d definitely stay at Reset Lombok Hotel again.
