Restaurant at Samaja Bali VIllas

KC and Aires were so friendly, quick to help, and always ready to assist with whatever we needed. The other staff were welcoming too, and they made us feel looked after from start to finish. Everything was clean and comfortable, just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location worked perfectly, with everywhere in Samanja only a short distance away, so getting around was easy. We had an amazing stay and will definitely return.

The restaurant attached to the villa was a highlight, with tasty food at reasonable prices and staff who were very accommodating to Western guests. The grounds were beautifully kept, and the villa had everything we needed. Getting to Seminyak beach or the town centre meant taking a taxi, though, and the bathrooms had drainage problems that caused a smell. One issue for families: the two bedrooms weren’t joined, and each had its own key. Once the children locked their door at night, we couldn’t get in to check on them. Apart from that, it was a lovely place to stay.

We stayed for two nights, but the service let the place down. One person at reception seemed unfriendly and unhelpful. We didn’t have enough cutlery or a wine opener in the villa, and when we asked for one, we were told to bring the bottle to reception. That was pretty inconvenient. The toilet also wouldn’t flush properly. For the price, I’d look at other villas with better service and facilities. I hope they can improve for future guests.
