Finding a decent long-term place in Bali has been a struggle. So many options are overpriced tourist villas, and apartments are hard to find. When there is one, it’s often a tiny studio with no kitchen. After some bad stays elsewhere, I came back to Studio 8d Residence because I missed the peace and comfort here. I’ve been here with my partner for a few months, with a short break in between, and we’ve changed rooms three times, so I’ve had a good chance to see the place. It’s central but quiet. The rooms are clean and modest, with a homey feel, and I’m comfortable staying here. The pool is a little old but very clean, and they seem to really care about its water quality. The house is an older Balinese one with lots of charm. I do wish they’d renovate it a bit more. Big thanks to Dea, the best landlord, host, and owner, and to Gede, who’s there whenever we need anything. You’re both a gem! For an affordable, comfortable stay in a great location, I’d definitely recommend it.
