Hotel Terrace at Kuta by Airyrooms

The staff were so kind throughout our stay. They helped us get our motorcycle down to the underground parking, and the front desk let us check in early on the first day. When my friend had trouble with her ears and needed her ears pierced, one of the women on the service team helped her put on earrings. After we had a motorcycle accident in the Ubud area, hotel staff came to treat our wounds for free. Those moments really moved me. Everyone served us with a smile. It’s a very good hotel, and the whole team is full of love.

For a budget trip, it’s hard to beat what you get for the price. I’ve stayed here a few times while passing through Kuta, and the location is great. The rooms on the 5th floor get lovely natural light. Highly recommend it if you’re watching your spending.

We stayed two nights and didn’t get shower gel, shampoo, or a tooth kit. There was a note saying to call the front desk if these items were missing. If they forgot them on the first day, why didn’t they bring them on the second? Why should we have to ask? We had our own products, so we used those, but it felt like they were cutting costs. Disappointing.

This is my second stay, and I keep coming back because it’s good value with nice rooms. Restaurants, bars, and a mini mart are close by. It’s probably in my top three cheap hotels in Bali. I’m heading to canggu now, then I’ll be back before I fly home to New Zealand. Definitely recommend it. The shower pressure is really good, unlike at some places I’ve stayed, and the staff always greet you and are friendly.
