The large pool was the villa's one good point. The kitchen was mouldy and smelled bad, and cleanliness was basically absent. Towels were old, torn, and far from white, with dirty spots. One day the bathroom fan fell from the ceiling. Thankfully nobody was using the toilet then, as it could have killed or seriously injured someone. There were a few cockroaches and ants everywhere. The staff tried to help and were helpful, but with foreign owners they seemed limited in what they could do or offer, and probably paid peanuts for the work.

A laid-back place with friendly hosts and good service, and Seminyak's shops are an easy walk away.

The real place looks just like the pictures. Loved the atmosphere and will come back!
