We appreciated how friendly and helpful the housekeeper and cleaning team were. They helped us buy medicine and kept communication clear throughout our stay. Supermarkets and restaurants were also an easy walk away. There were several things that could be better, though. The bathroom water pressure kept changing, and the semi-outdoor bathroom had quite a lot of mosquitoes. There’s no bathtub, and only the shower area is covered when it rains, which wasn’t very convenient with young children. The room tiles looked old and dark, and got slippery when wet after swimming. There was also a slightly odd smell, maybe from the straw roof. At night, loud gecko sounds in one room affected sleep. We could also clearly hear music and conversations from the neighbouring villa at night because the sound insulation between it and the master bedroom was poor.

The beach, supermarket, and Organic Spa were all easy to reach on foot, and I found plenty of great cafés and restaurants nearby. HUT Bali stood out for its coffee and food. Villa Santai is right in lively Seminyak, but the garden and generous pool make it feel calm and relaxing. The villa is spacious, luxurious, and beautifully designed. I felt safe and at ease, and loved the people, food, and climate. My first Bali visit, in late August and early September 2025, was unforgettable. I can’t wait to return! 🌺

The outdoor kitchen opens naturally onto the pool and garden, so there’s plenty of space to relax in peace. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, with big beds, aircon, and fast Wi-Fi. It’s a lovely modern villa with Balinese touches, just like the photos and close to everything. The staff were always welcoming and helpful. I’ve stayed at Vila Santai three times in a row, and from the moment you arrive, you know you picked well. Love everything about this place! Highly recommend it 🌴✨

There are bars, cafés, and shops all around, but nights were still quiet. The villa itself was cozy and peaceful, with comfortable furniture and fast Wi-Fi. Just what we needed for a holiday.

The gardens were beautiful, the rooms comfortable, and the pool felt heavenly. We also got each day off to a great start with the fantastic breakfast. Villa Santai was clean and well cared for, and the location worked well for us. The staff were lovely, approachable, and always ready to help. They made us feel genuinely welcome. We had an amazing stay, thank you to everyone at Villa Santai.
