Green Bowl Beach Villas

Getting around was easy enough: the location is a bit away from the action, but Grabs arrived quickly and were cheap to anywhere we wanted to go. Tanah Barak Cliff is within walking distance, as is a very quiet, beautiful beach with the clearest water we saw in Bali. The gardens really made these villas special, with lovely plants and flowers, little birds, and a gorgeous view across the pool. We only wished for a few more loungers. The included breakfast was tasty and freshly made. The villas were bright, airy, and surprisingly nice, and the outdoor bathroom was a highlight. Everyone working there was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Tucked up in the hills, it’s so quiet and the views are spectacular. You’d hardly know the place was there. The rooms were a good size, clean, and tidy, with a gorgeous bathroom and a nice strong shower. WiFi worked well too. We had free breakfast every morning, and staff were around until late if we needed anything. Such a perfect place to begin our Bali trip, thanks!

The location was acceptable, and the staff were nice, but walking around was difficult because there were so many stray dogs. I’m very disappointed with this property. The room was dirty and didn’t feel worth the price, and I’m grateful Airbnb support made sure I got a refund. The cabin wood creaks from all sides when the wind blows. Also, the bathroom is outdoors.

We loved waking up to the view from the restaurant, with Pantai Pandawa and people taking their cows out each morning. Komang was a great host and helped us get a really good scooter. The bungalows felt magical and cozy, with one of the best beds I’ve slept in. The wood and bamboo smell was wonderful, both relaxing and energizing. The open bathroom was lovely, and I liked how each plant and stone had been placed. In rainy season, though, the rain really poured around 2-3 in the morning, so going to the toilet meant getting a shower too. A couple of frogs also hung out in the bathtub at night. They gave us two small bottles of water each day, mostly for brushing our teeth. We’ll definitely come back.
