Lala Home Stay

The little kitchen was a big plus for us since we’d rather cook than eat out all the time. I spent a month in Bali, and this was easily my favorite place to stay. It was peaceful, very clean and tidy, and the price was affordable. The host and his wife were so kind, always smiling, and quick to help whenever we needed anything. We wanted to extend, but the room was already booked. Otherwise, we’d definitely have stayed longer. Highly recommend!

The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rural strip has a few nice local places to eat as well as beautiful beaches nearby. Lalahomestay is a peaceful break from Bali’s usual bustle, with a spacious, very clean, quiet room and a private bathroom. I’ve been to Bali plenty of times but hadn’t stayed in this area before. It’s about 10 minutes by scooter or bike to Nusa Dua, so you can enjoy the quiet and still be near things. I used Grab, which was cheap and easy, and there’s practically no traffic around here. It felt like a hidden gem and a chance to see a quieter, more local side of Bali. You can sleep properly without noise, which is rare here. A great spot if you want to be away from crowds but close to Nusa Dua.

It’s a quiet, clean, spacious room, and the homestay is lovely. A few nice places to eat are on the rural strip nearby. You’re about a 10-minute bike ride from Nusa Dua’s main centre and its beaches.

The women running this place are lovely, and it’s a wonderful choice if you enjoy nature and a rural feel. It is a bit remote, though: the power went out a few times, but came back within minutes, and there isn’t a shop within walking distance. For laundry, Otherworld laundry was really great, and there’s a good horse riding school just down the road. All in all, a really lovely place.
