Summer Homestay Bali

Koma was so kind and helpful, and her food was incredible. We looked forward to breakfast every morning. She also offers laundry, scooters for 85k a day, and daily room cleaning, even though we hadn’t asked for it. The room was spotless, had a pleasant ethereal smell, and the shower was perfect. After six months traveling around Southeast Asia, Summer Homestay was our favorite place to stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Bali. Thanks so much for your time, Koma. Hopefully we’ll be back soon, and I’ll keep recommending this place to friends, family, and even strangers.

The garden was the standout for me. It kept the place cool, and we even saw a squirrel picking fruit. The dog and cat are adorable and love being petted, and the pancakes at breakfast were delicious and unlike any we’d had before. Koma and Ketut have a lovely, quiet place that’s well worth a visit. We only stayed two nights, but our room was still cleaned and tidied while we were out. It’s spacious, with AC, a comfortable bed, and a little patio. Definitely recommend! ⭐️

Komang was so helpful during our week at Summer Homestay Bali. We loved the clean, spacious room, especially the bathroom and terrace where we enjoyed eating. Breakfast and lunch are available at a good price, and I recommend renting a scooter with Komang. We’d happily stay again. Thank you, Komang!

I only stayed one night. The room smelled strongly of chemicals, like chlorine or something, and after 15 minutes I had a terrible headache. I told the owner, who first claimed it was the previous guest’s perfume, then said he couldn’t smell anything. Eventually he offered another room, but charged me extra because it was bigger. I didn’t care about the size. I just wanted to avoid breathing chemicals and stay healthy. It was the owner’s fault, yet I still had to pay more to move. That’s not how you should be treated. I’ll give two stars for the owner’s kind wife and the kitchen, but otherwise I wouldn’t recommend it. The rooms are old and poorly maintained.
