The pizza really wasn’t much like pizza, in my opinion. If proper pizza can’t be made, it might be better to leave it off the menu, though there’s still plenty of other food to choose from. The rest of the stay was good: it’s a calm location, the rooms are well kept, and the pool is lovely. We were protected from monkeys, which was a big plus. Staff cleaned daily and brought fresh towels each day. There’s a wide breakfast menu, the staff are kind and helpful, and there’s a free shuttle to two beaches.

The restaurant was disappointing. My husband and I both ordered Balinese chicken, but my piece was still frozen inside. I asked for a replacement, and the waitress apologized, but 15 minutes later she brought back the same chicken on the same plate, with the same rice and vegetables that had been touched and mixed with the chicken’s blue blood. The location, though, was superb, just two minutes from the beach, and we got free entrance tickets. The room was clean despite some insects, which we didn’t mind because we love nature.

The ocean breeze, beach proximity, and private, good-quality room are what make this place five-star for me. The food was average, nothing special. I’d say it’s good value if you book on the Agoda app for 400k or less a night. If you’re paying more than that, I’d look for somewhere better.

I enjoyed having a garden space where I could meditate, and there’s a free shuttle to the beach, though I walked there and back. The resort is a quiet little place off the beaten track, away from the hustle, with clean, comfortable rooms and fantastic staff. Food was nice, served in a small outdoor dining area beside a Koi karp tank that was lovely and relaxing to listen to. It’s probably not suitable if you’re not active.

For the budget, the rooms are great, and both breakfast and service were great too. The only drawback is the location, which is kind of remote, so you need to be prepared for that.
