RedDoorz near Pantai Pede

For the price, this seems fine for a night, maybe two. The bed was nice, though the place wasn't very clean, with some mold and bugs, probably because it's old.

The staff were kind and helpful, but I left as soon as I spotted a used pad with blood on the staircase. The place was dusty, dirty, moldy, and clearly not maintained. It felt sketchy and dodgy. Don't stay here.

The beds were clean and comfortable, and the staff were kind and clearly trying to help. But the rest of the place seemed to have gone without maintenance for years. Both rooms we booked had toilets that wouldn't flush unless we filled the tanks by hand. There were no lights, hot water, water pressure, internet, windows, or even toilet paper. Water also went out often, and the interiors were badly damaged by mildew. There isn't a sign out front, either. One room's lock was so poor I got in with a chopstick. The place should be closed until the locks are repaired, and booking sites need to update the listing, even at this low price. I only stayed because I had booked online in advance. I feel for the staff, who seem to be doing their best while the owner appears to have given up years ago. This was my first and last RedDoorz.

The lobby was filthy, and the bathroom in my room looked as if it had never been cleaned. The sheets were stained and had holes, and the AC didn't work. The rooms also don't match their descriptions or photos. You can find cheaper hostels in better shape. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
