The family renting the place are extremely friendly, and the inexpensive rent includes a delicious, generous breakfast every day. We stayed nearly a month in the large room with an open kitchen on the left side of the property. It's not the most modern apartment, but it's bright and spacious. We weren't bothered by the nearby bars, and it wasn't loud in the evenings either. The center of Ubud is an easy walk away. It also feels good knowing the money goes to a local family instead of foreign investors. A lovely place to stay, recommended!

I stayed almost two months with my dog and was really happy to find this affordable room with a kitchen. The family running the guesthouse is lovely, and breakfast was excellent. There are always lots of insects and reptiles in the room, though, some of them very cute. If giant ants don't scare you too much, I can absolutely recommend it.

The room is big and has nice architecture, so this place could be really good. But there was mold almost everywhere, the bed smelled fungal, and the kitchen was dirty. We didn't turn on the fan because it looked like lung cancer. We slept in our trousers and everything. Such a shame. They should hire a good cleaner and do some renovation.

The woman was very kind, but her English wasn't very good, so it was hard to explain why we were unhappy. The place needs a lot of maintenance before guests should sleep there again. Both the bathroom and bedroom smelled strongly of mold, and there were mold stains everywhere. Giant ants were living in the bathroom and walking under the door into the bedroom. Don't stay here if mold, bad smells, and giant ants are a problem for you.
