The sea view is the one real highlight here, especially at sunset. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff are great, as people in Indonesia are generally so helpful and friendly. But a balcony without a sea view looks onto nothing special, just the hill. The hotel is much too far from the harbour area, where the cafes, restaurants, bars and basics like 7eleven are. Upkeep is poor, with dirty floors and elevator. The place feels like an old-fashioned hostel or dorm, and breakfast is very average.

We stayed four days and had a connecting room. It's a 3-star hotel, but we had a pleasant break from routine, with the open sea visible through the window. The food was mediocre. There are restaurants within walking distance, and the city center isn't too far by car.

The views are on another level, and the pool is great. Service was attentive, and the restaurant food was high quality and good value. I didn't try breakfast. The hotel is a little old, and there's construction next door, but for the price I'd come back.

The sea view, especially at sunset, is breathtaking, and that's mainly what you're paying for. The room was clean, the hot shower was fine, though water pressure was low. Wi-Fi worked, but was very slow at times, and there were only two power sockets in the room. They offer airport drop-off service, and new buildings are under construction. Breakfast didn't meet our expectations: there weren't many choices, and we Indonesians didn't find it very tasty. I'd suggest training the chef or finding a new one.
