Zasgo Hotel

The Seaview balcony room had a beautiful view, and the rooftop restaurant put out a generous breakfast. There’s also a pharmacy, grocery, souvenir shop and minisoo, with the cafe and restaurant strips just a short walk away. The front desk can arrange an airport shuttle for 75k. The hotel has all the modern conveniences and a shiny feel. Of the places I stayed in LBJ, this was my top choice, and also the most expensive. I didn’t get time to use the pool.

The rooms and restaurant both have great views, and the attached shops and ATM are convenient. Service was excellent and the staff were really friendly. The one downside was the food: it took over an hour to arrive, and it seemed like they’d forgotten our order.

We spent seven days here. The beds were good, and the rooms worked well for us. Ours had no windows, which has its advantages, and we slept well. The pool was nice too. Breakfast and dinner were served in a pleasant restaurant with a great harbor and sunset view. You can order a breakfast box for a Komodo daytrip. The big supermarket in the basement was a highlight, with plenty of bintang beer in stock 🤣. Most of all, the staff were very kind, always smiling, just like in Bali. Baik, bagus.

You can find almost anything you need here, with a pharmacy, kids' facilities and a shopping mart on the ground floor. It's a very comfortable hotel, and we had a satisfying stay in Labuan Bajo. The one thing missing for me was a gym or fitness center.
