Dragon Dive Komodo Dive Resort

I did two days of diving with them and had a perfect time. I was a little scared, but James and the crew were kind and helped me through it. James was friendly and very professional, and looked after my sister and me on every dive. I highly recommend them!

The guides treated marine life with real care. They kept a proper distance from the mantas, didn’t disturb them, and stayed clear of the cleaning stations. It was clear they care about protecting the ocean and its animals. And I was lucky enough to see lots of mantas at the stunning dive sites! I joined Dragon Dive Komodo for a one-day fun dive trip with 3 dives, and it was amazing from start to finish. The whole crew were lovely, professional, and in great spirits. Big kisses to Léa and Stéphane for making the day so special. Thanks for the memories, I’d recommend it 100%.

Having accommodation on site with breakfast included made the course so convenient. Staying, eating, and diving in one place kept the whole thing smooth and stress-free. My main goal was to dive Batu Bolong, and I’m so happy I got to do it with this team. The crew at Dragon Dive Komodo were fantastic, and I’d love to come back for more dive sites. I’d spent some time looking around Labuan Bajo for the right place to do a refresher and Advanced Open Water. Master Diver Alex told me what a wonderful place it was and helped convince me to choose it. He was absolutely right. After three years away from diving, the refresher with Lea and Alex was just what I needed. They were patient and supportive, and helped me feel confident underwater again. A huge thanks to Rudie and Rocky for guiding my Advanced Open Water. Both trainers were knowledgeable and passionate about diving.

We had a fantastic week at Dragon Dive, the best of our travels so far. The accommodation was lovely and great value, so we added two nights after the diving. On rest days, the pool was practically ours while everyone else was out on the boat. The new restaurant Le Resto was great too. Across four days of diving, my husband completed his Advanced PADI and we both earned Nitrox certifications. Every day brought mantas, lively coral reefs, lots of turtles, and a few sharks. Huge thanks to our guides Rudy, Marsel, and Jeffrey! Our day boat trips had 3 dives each, with breakfast at the hotel and good snacks and lunch on board. There was plenty of room to relax during the roughly 90-minute trip each way to and from the dive sites. Hotel and dive staff were lovely and helpful, and I really liked the center’s commitment to training and supporting local people to become dive masters. We missed the southern dive sites because our timing didn’t work for a liveaboard, which was our only regret. The day dives were incredible anyway, and we’ll be back for a liveaboard next time. I’d recommend it 100% to everyone I know!
