There’s plenty to do nearby, from trekking to more laid-back outdoor activities, and getting to popular spots is convenient since the location is closer to Lembang and Bandung. I found the place neater and better maintained than I expected, with a noticeable improvement in cleanliness and presentation. The extra facilities also made the stay comfortable. It’s a well-equipped, practical option for a short getaway near Bandung.

The view from the cabin was enough to make me want to stay, and we were right beside Orchid Forest, with the deer sanctuary within walking distance. I brought my toddler, and she had the best time. There was plenty of room for the three of us, with a king bed upstairs and a queen downstairs, and the cabin felt much bigger than I’d imagined. The bathroom was comfortable and the blankets were thick and cozy, so you don’t need to pack much. Just bring insect repellent or a mosquito coil for time outside. I was sad to leave and already want to retire there. Such a magical forest escape.

The main downside for us was a cabin light that kept turning back on after we switched it off. That needs a proper maintenance check. We could hear vehicles passing fairly often because the place is close to the main road, and the room and grounds are showing wear that needs attention. On the good side, it was easy to reach, booking and check-in were convenient, and the hospitality was good. We skipped breakfast, so I can’t comment on the food, but the coffee was priced well for this kind of place.

I appreciated that they gave me breakfast to make up for the problems, but it still didn’t really fix the mood. I expected a perfect holiday for the price I paid, and the room had dirty windows, a Bluetooth issue, and, worst of all, the lights weren’t working properly.
