OYO 2133 Pintu Naga

The guard was kind and even apologized, but the rooms were a real letdown. After the AC in my first, reasonably decent room stopped working, I couldn't get a refund and had to pick between 301 and 303. Room 301 had plenty of space, though it was dark and had a paved floor. I chose 303, which matched the other reviews: the lights were out, the hallway was filthy, the floor covering was peeling, and the sheets were yellow. There were mosquitoes, and the window was covered only with newspaper. The bathroom was awful, with water leaking into the room and a broken shower spraying everywhere. There weren't any power outlets, and I had to use a roll-up shower. It really wasn't adequate.

For a cheap stay, I still didn't expect it to be this neglected and filthy. I usually don't fuss about hotels, but I won't stay here again. The building may be new, yet it feels uncared for. The room was much smaller and dirtier than it looked in the photos, with a sandy floor, a charger far from the bed, and a yellow neon-style light that disappointed me as soon as I walked in. The bed and pillows looked hastily arranged. The AC cooled the room, but its remote didn't work, so I couldn't control it once it was on. The bathroom was worse. There were cigarette remains, hair, and tissues scattered around the drain, which explained the smoke smell. The trash bin had a used sanitary pad that hadn't been thrown out, so I took it out myself. The floor was very slippery, as if it had never been scrubbed, and mosquitoes scattered when I lifted the pillow. There was an unlabelled container that might have been soap or shampoo, with a smell like old blue laundry soap. Don't count on toothpaste either. I was curious enough to check Google Maps, and the reviews there weren't good.

The bed was pretty hard, which I could live with, but the sheets, blanket, and pillows need attention. I woke up itchy, and when I checked them, they smelled used and didn't look freshly washed. Everything else was good. I hope they improve the cleaning, because a clean room is what makes a place comfortable.

I paid 72,811 in full through Agoda, and the voucher had already been issued. But when I arrived, my name wasn't on that day's booking list. The OYO representative there told me to call Agoda customer service and confirm the booking code, but the code wasn't there. They said OYO DOES NOT ACCEPT BOOKINGS UNDER 110,000.
